Delete My Data & Request Rights.

You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we hold about you, along with the rights to access, correct, and obtain a copy of it, and to opt out of any sale or sharing. These rights are provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the EU/UK GDPR, and other U.S. state privacy laws. We honor verifiable requests from anyone these laws protect, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

To protect your information, we verify your identity using the details we already hold (for example, the email address you used to contact us or purchase). An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization. We respond within the timeframes the law requires - generally within 45 days under the CCPA (extendable once by another 45 days with notice) and within one month under the GDPR. There is no fee unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive.

When we delete your information, we remove it from our active systems and direct our processors to do the same, except where we are permitted or required to keep certain records - for example, to complete a transaction, comply with a legal obligation, or protect against fraud. We will tell you if an exception applies to your request.

Remember that our software products run on your own machine and do not send data to us; there is nothing on our side to delete for those, and you control that data directly.

If we decline your request and your state provides a right to appeal (such as Virginia, Colorado, or Connecticut), you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing privacy@pausetechlabs.com. We will respond within the time the law allows.
